Birth Pool Rentals
Investment
• Birth Clients: Included
• Non–Birth Clients: $200
Water has long been a sacred companion in birth. Often referred to as nature’s epidural, a birth pool offers gentle, effective support for physiological labor by creating an environment of relaxation, safety, and freedom of movement.
Immersion in warm water can ease tension, reduce discomfort, and support steady progress in labor. The buoyancy allows your body to move instinctively, encouraging optimal positioning while conserving energy. Many birthing women experience decreased blood pressure, increased relaxation, and a deeper sense of calm as the water softens the intensity of each surge.
A birth pool invites you to labor in a space that feels private, supported, and undisturbed. It creates a sanctuary where your nervous system can settle, your breath can deepen, and your body can work as it was designed to do—without force or interruption.
More than a tool, a birth pool is an ally. It supports surrender, presence, and trust as you move through the waves of labor and into the moment of meeting your baby.

FAQs
-
The rental includes the birth pool, an unopened disposable liner, an air pump to blow up the pool, a water pump for emptying, a floating thermometer, a sink/shower adapter, and a debris net.
-
The included rental period is 38 weeks until the birth of your baby with a total of 4 weeks max. Additional weeks can be purchased at $50 per week.
-
For birth clients, I will bring the pool to you at your 38-week prenatal visit and I will take down the pool after the birth of your baby as part of our cleanup from the birth.
For non-birth clients, we will arrange to drop off around 37-38 weeks and I will pick up within 24-48 hours after your birth.
-
Bookings that are canceled by 36 weeks will receive a refund of all but the non-refundable $50 booking fee. Bookings that are canceled after 36 weeks or after receiving the birth pool are not refundable.
-
You will need to provide your own new drinking water hose to fill and empty your pool. An RV drinking water hose is strongly recommended for filling as garden hoses can contain lead, BPAs, and other toxic contaminates.
I only provide one sink/shower adapter for filling, so you may need to purchase your own for your specific sink/shower.
You will be responsible for setting the pool up with provided instructions.
If I am attending your birth, I will take the pool down, do the cleaning of the pool, and pack it up to take it home when I depart from your birth.
If I am not attending your birth, you will be responsible for taking the pool down and doing basic cleaning of the pool before I am scheduled to pick it up.
I strongly recommend doing a practice setup of the pool to familiarize yourself with it before the start of labor.
-
Yes, absolutely! A disposable liner MUST be used with each rental, but I also thoroughly clean and sanitize the pool following strict cleaning and sanitizing protocols after each use.
-
If you familiarize yourself with the pool, set up should take 30-60 minutes, depending on your water pressure.
Take-down takes about the same amount of time.
-
While you do not need to do a thorough sanitizing, please make sure the pool and all the components are rinsed, free of large particulates or visible blood/fluids, and that everything is dried before packing it back up into the box.
