Come as you are. Leave a little more nourished.
Motherhood was never meant to be walked alone.
Somewhere along the way, we've lost the village that once gathered around women through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and the everyday rhythms of raising children. Many of us find ourselves longing for deeper friendships, wise mentorship, and a place where we can simply show up without pretending to have it all together.
Village Sister Circle is an invitation to slow down, share a meal or a cup of tea, and gather with women who desire authentic community rooted in faith, encouragement, and the beauty of doing life together.
There is no pressure to perform.
No expectations to have all the answers.
No need to leave your little ones behind.
Just women making space for one another.
What is a Village Sister Circle?
Village Sister Circle is a recurring gathering for women in every season of motherhood.
Whether you're trying to conceive, expecting your first baby, navigating postpartum, homeschooling teenagers, supporting grown children, or serving mothers as a birth worker, you are welcome here.
Each gathering offers space to:
Build meaningful friendships
Share stories and wisdom
Receive encouragement and prayer
Learn practical skills for pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood
Celebrate victories and process hardships together
Connect with local families and birth workers
Rediscover the beauty of living in community
I believe every woman has something to teach and something to receive.
What to Expect
No two gatherings are exactly alike, but a typical Village Sister Circle may include:
Tea, coffee, and light refreshments
Time to connect and visit
A Scripture and short devotional
Guided conversation around motherhood, faith, pregnancy, birth, or family life
A practical demonstration or seasonal skill
Prayer and encouragement
Time to linger and build friendships
Children are always welcome.
Because villages don't happen when children are hidden away—they happen when generations gather together.
Who is this for?
Village Sister Circle is for women who are longing for authentic community.
You are welcome whether you are:
Hoping to become a mother
Pregnant
Preparing for birth
Newly postpartum
Raising little ones
Homeschooling
Parenting older children
A grandmother
A doula or birthkeeper
A midwife
A lactation consultant
Simply looking for Christ-centered friendships
There is a place for you here.
My Heart in Hosting Village Sister Circles…
My hope isn't simply to host another event.
My prayer is to cultivate a village.
A place where meals are shared.
Babies are passed from loving arms to loving arms.
Birth stories are honored.
Wisdom is exchanged across generations.
Women leave feeling seen, known, and deeply encouraged.
I believe God designed us to flourish in community, and we are rediscovering what that can look like today.
Join the Circle
Rather than filling every month with another commitment, we gather intentionally—once each season.
This rhythm allows us to slow down, honor the changing seasons, and come together with fresh hearts and open hands. Whether this is your first gathering or your fourth, there is always a place for you.
Each Circle includes conversation, prayer, encouragement, practical wisdom, and time to simply be together.

Stay Connected Between Circles
A village isn't built in a single afternoon.
Join the private Facebook community where we continue encouraging one another, sharing local resources, celebrating milestones, asking for prayer, and staying connected between our seasonal circles.
-
Most gatherings are free, though occasional specialty workshops may have a small fee to help cover materials.
Donations toward refreshments are always appreciated but never expected.
-
Absolutely.
Nursing babies, toddlers, and children are welcome. We embrace the beautiful sounds and movement that come with family life.
-
Perfect.
Many women come alone, and one of my greatest hopes is that no one leaves feeling like a stranger.
-
Not at all.
Motherhood has many seasons, and women from every stage of life have wisdom and encouragement to offer one another.
-
Village Sister Circle is rooted in the Christian faith and begins with prayer and Scripture while welcoming respectful conversation and women from all backgrounds.
-
Together, we create a space where every woman is seen, heard, and valued
Come as you are.
You don't need to have it all together. Whether you're celebrating, grieving, exhausted, joyful, or simply curious, you are welcome here.We gather as sisters, not experts.
Titles, credentials, and years of experience stay at the door. Every woman has something to teach, and every woman has something to learn. We share from our own experiences rather than assuming what is best for someone else.
Whether you're a first-time mom, grandmother, doula, midwife, nurse, or birth educator, we come together not to impress or persuade, but to encourage, listen, and learn from one another.
Practice generous listening.
Listen to understand, not to respond.Allow each woman to finish her thoughts without interruption, and honor her story even if it differs from your own.
Lead with curiosity, not correction.
Instead of debating or trying to convince one another, ask thoughtful questions and seek to understand.Different experiences can exist side by side.
Honor every journey.
Pregnancy, birth, postpartum, infertility, miscarriage, adoption, foster care, breastfeeding, formula feeding, homeschooling, public school—every woman's story deserves compassion and respect.Comparison has no place here.
What's shared here stays here.
Stories shared within the circle are held in confidence. We protect one another's trust by asking permission before sharing someone else's story outside the gathering.
Be present.
Silence your phone and tuck it away whenever possible. If you need to step away for a call or tend to a child, of course, do what you need to do.
Your presence is a gift to the circle.
Leave room for everyone.
Some of us process by talking.
Others process by listening.Let's be mindful of making space so every woman who wants to share has the opportunity.
Assume the best.
Extend grace.Give one another the benefit of the doubt.
We are all learning, growing, and doing the best we can with what we know.
We don't fix—we accompany.
Sometimes the greatest gift we can offer isn't advice. It's simply sitting beside someone and reminding her she isn't alone.
Receive as freely as you give.
This isn't a place to perform, teach, or carry everyone else's burdens.Allow yourself to be encouraged, prayed over, and cared for, too.
We honor each woman's God-given responsibility to make decisions for herself and her family.
We may offer our experiences when invited, but we trust each woman to prayerfully discern what is right for her own season. We are here to support, not pressure.
